Why do users prefer a user friendly app?

I don’t really know about everyone else but I am someone who just simply hates to use a mobile app that is not user friendly. I find it irritating and frustrating to use something that I fond hard to understand and especially something like a mobile app that is supposedly going to make my life easier. Imagine if you create an app to make people’s lives easier and you make it in a way that ends up making their lives more complicated. What do you think will happen? I am sure you know what will happen. People will not use it because people prefer to use things that help them out and not stress them out. What other reasons are there for people preferring user friendly apps?
